  • Child profiles: Parents may create child profiles that include a first name (or nickname) and age. This information is used solely to personalize the learning experience and track lesson progress.
  • Learning progress: We store information about which lessons and activities a child has completed to provide a continuous learning experience.
  • Website communications: If you contact us or previously joined our launch list, we collect your email address.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service

3. Children's Privacy

Sweet Phonics is designed for children ages 3–6, used under parental supervision. We take children's privacy seriously:

  • We do not collect personal information directly from children. All account creation and management is performed by a parent or guardian.
  • Child profiles contain only a first name (or nickname) and age, provided by the parent.
  • We do not display advertising of any kind in the app.
  • We do not sell, share, or disclose children's information to third parties.
  • Parents can review, update, or delete their child's information at any time by contacting us.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud infrastructure provider. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use Supabase for data storage and authentication. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal process.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@sweetphonics.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and data
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
